Tanzania managed to hold the host Algeria 1 - 1 at an encounter which was dominated by the Desert Foxes - Algeria.
Algeria which is superior to Tanzania in FIFA ranking, fails to score many goals on several opportunities they got. Thanks to Tanzanian goalkeeper who saved numerous number of what was looking to go inside the net.
All goals werescored in the first half, Tanzania got the goal in 34th minute, and Algeria equalised at 45th minute.
Algeria still is facing hard time for the 5th game in a row without any win, and have scored not more than 1 goal among the 8 games they have played so far including today's match.
Tanzania similaly, hasn't won in their last 6 games, but at times had managed to score more than one goal in a match.
Prior to this match, Tanzania coach declare that his team will fight to the last nail knowing they are going to face tough opponents, and he was determined to come out with one point, or even three!
His dream came out true!
