Medics: End of the Month Joke!

An old man goes to the doctor for his yearly physical, his wife tagging along. When the doctor enters the examination room, he tells the old man, "I need a urine sample, a stool sample and a sperm sample."
The old man, being hard of hearing, looks at his wife and yells: "WHAT?"
"What did he say? What's he want?"
His wife yells back, "He needs your underwear."

African Cup of Nations: Latest Results: Zambia Vs Libya

Group A games were really not friendly to the weather! After long waiting, eventually the game between Zambia and Libya started 75 minutes after the normal scheduled time to kick off.  
  
The football pitch was pretty bad and very wet following heavy rains in the afternoon. There were some areas on the pitch which were almost no-navigatory area. 
    
Libyans were quick to score on the 4th minutes through Ahmed Saad Osman.
24 minutes later, Zambia equalised through Emmanuel Mayuka, who was booked 2 minutes earlier on attempting to kick the ball in penalty area but it hit him near the shoulder, but he was booked for a handball!
Second half it was again time for Libya to go ahead by scoring a second goal through the first goal scorer Ahmed Saad Osman shortly after beginning of second period.  
  
Zambia came out within seven minutes to get an equalisre through Christopher Katongo.  
  
Afterward, the game was from flying, floating in water pools, slippery in muddy pitch and good football.
  
Game ende with a draw of 2 - 2 

The earlier game which was supposed to be between the host Equatorial Guinea and Senegal was postponed due to bad condition on the football pitch.

African Cup of Nations: Group C updates: Gabon VS Niger

The first match has just ended between the host Gabon versus new faces for the African Championship, Niger.

Gabon has impressed her fans by beating Niger 2 - 0.  
  
All Gabon goals were scored in the first half of the game. The first goal was scored by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on 30th minutes, and the second goal was scored by Stephane Nguema on 44th minute. 
  
The secong game in this group between Tunisia and Morocco ended by Tunisia winning the game after beating their counterpart Morocco by 2 - 1.
Therefore, Gabon is leading group C followed by Tunisia. Morocco hold the third position and Niger is trailling behind.

Outcome of Kenyan Politicians - The Ocampo Six Turn to Ocampo Four

Charges has been confirmed to 4 suspects by the chamber Judges after individual and collective analysis. The judges went through evidence from 30,000 pages and 4905 files.
To reach the conclusions, Judges had to make more than 200 decisions. 
  
Chamber has given strengths of prosecution charges but not judging innocence or guilty of suspects.
  
William Ruto - Has charges as indirect perpetuator of murder 
 
Henry Kosgey- Has no charges as chamber was not persuaded by evidence of prosecutor as they relies on evidence from anonymous person 

Joshua arap Sang-  Has charges to answer 
 
Mohamed Hussein Ali - Charges not confirmed  
  
Uhuru Kenyata - Charges confirmed as is criminary responsible as indirect crime perpetuator
  
Francis Muthaura - Charges confirmed 
  
Therefore, those confirmed Ruto, Uhuru, Muthaura and Sang will be charged by international criminal court in different chambers. However their presumptions of their innocence is still intact until when they are proven beyond no doubts that they are guilty. 
 
Ali and Kosgey are not charged, however, they may be called in case if evidence sufficient to implicate them in the post-elections violence and crime against humane will come or connect them with the crime.

African Cup of Nations 2012 Latest Results

Sunday, 22nd Jan. 2012 was the day for group B.
  
Didier Drogba's header scored a victory for Ivory Coast 1-0 against opponents, Sudan. 
The match was not much impressive as expected by the fans especially from the Ivorian side. 
  
Another match in group B was between Burkina Faso and Angola. The Burkinabe team could not maintain their equilizer and lost to Angola by 2-1 when Manucho, former Manchester United player, scored a winning goal from a shot outside the penalty box when Burkinabe defences faulted. 
  
Therefore, Angolans are leading the group B followed by Ivorians. They all have three points, while Burkina Faso and Sudan secured 3rd and 4th positions respectively without a point.

Rwanda Yapunguza Kodi ya Nishati ya Mafuta Kupunguza Makali ya Mfumuko wa Bei

Wakati mfumuko wa bei unaelekea kupanda hapa Rwanda, na hivyo kuelekea kupandisha bei za bidhaa mbalimbali za vyakula na matumizi mengine. Serikali ya Rwanda imeamua kupunguza tozo ya kodi kwa mafuta kwa asilimia 6% . Taarifa hii ya punguzo ilitolewa na wazara ya Biashara na Viwanda.
 
Hali hii imesababisha kushuka mara moja kwa bei ya mafuta kutoka Faranga za Rwanda 1,000 kwa lita moja ya mafuta ya petroli na dizeli hadi Faranga 940. Hii ni sawa na punguzo la asilimia 6% kwa kila lita inayonunuliwa.  Bei elekezi ilitolewa na wizara hiyo ikitegemea bei ya mafuta ya rejareja haitazidi Faranga za Rwanda 940 kwa lita.
 
Baada ya kutangazwa bei hii mpya, vituo vyote vilishusha bei na hakukuwa na tatizo lolote la vituo kuacha kuuza mafuta kama inavyokuwa Kenya na Tanzania. 
 
Hii ndio serikali inayojali mustakabali na uchumi wa wananchi wake.

I think by reducing production of unfriendly gases, environmental care and appropriate use of water.
  
We are not making appropriate justice for our future generations by Accumulating wealthy by the means of  destroying the earth!

Mgogoro wa Madaktari: Umezaliwa na Kukuzwa na Wizara ya Afya na Muhimbili

Mgogoro wa madaktari unaoendelea katika Hospitali ya Taifa ya Muhimbili mimi naona ni wa kujitakia.
Madaktari walikubali kufanya kazi kwa karibu miezi miwili bila kupokea stahiki yao ya posho ya kila mwezi ambayo ni sawa na mshahara wa mtumishi yeyote, kwa maana ya kipato kwa kazi aliyoifanya mtu bila kujali ni kiasi gani.
  
Madaktari waliko mafunzoni huwa wanaitumia posho hiyo kukidhi mahitaji yao ya kimaisha kama binadamu, japo huwa ni kidogo sana kutegemea na muda wanaoutumia na mazingira wanayofanyia kazi.
Mara zote, huwa ndio wa kwanza kupokea wagonjwa muda wowote, maanake wanakuwa katika hali ya kuwa tayari kufanya kazi kwa saa 24 kila siku kwa muda wa siku 7 kwa kila wiki nk. 
  
Suala la kuwacheleweshea posho zao, ni kuwaua kisaikolojia na kumaliza nguvu zao katika kuwahudumia watu wanaohitaji huduma zao, nina maana wale ambao hawawezi kwenda mahali pengine popote kwa huduma ya kiafya, achilia mbali wale wanaoweza kwenda India nk kwa mgongo wa walipa kodi wa Tanzania. 
 
Kama Serikali ilikiri kuwa ilikuwa na ukata, kwa nini basi ilikaa kimya bila kuwataarifu madaktari hao na kuwaacha wafanye kazi bila posho kama vile wanafanya utafiti wa kisayansi kuona wataweza vipi kumudu kazi bila posho...  
 
Serikali kupitia wizara yake ya Afya na ustawi wa jamii, iliweza kupata pesa za kuwalipa posho madaktari waliopo mafunzoni na wao hawakuchelewa walirudi kazini siku hiyohiyo. 
 
Binafsi bado sijaelewa ni kwa nini Uongozi wa hospitali ya Taifa, Muhimbili uliamua kuwatimua madaktari hao 224 baada ya wao kurejea kazini kwa kuwarudisha wizara ya afya ati walikiuka mkataba wao? Huku wakifahamu kabisa watendaji wao wakuu ni hao hao madaktari waliopo mafunzoni. 
 
Kitendo hiki sijui ni cha kuwakomoa madaktari, wagonjwa au wizara iliyoshindwa kuwalipa posho!!!?
Kama wizara itaunga mkono uamuzi wa Muhimbili, basi hapo tujue kuna tatizo kubwa, kwani wizara itakuwa haijui ya kuwa taasisi yake inawakebehi na kuwadharau. Kwani ukiwa mkosaji mtu akakutupia virago vyako, maana yake hauna thamani kwake, na wala hakutaki tena, kitendo walichofanya muhimbili, ni kuitupia virago wizara ya Afya kwa kushindwa kuwalipa posho madaktari. Nitashangaa kama waziri atakenua meno na kusifia hatua ya Muhimbili huku wizara yake ikiwa imedharauliwa, labda hata na yeye mwenyewe.
   
Mimi kama mdau wa sekta ya Afya, na ndugu zangu wakiwa wanahangaika kwenye wadi wakisubiri madaktari waje wawahudumie huku wengine wakiaga dunia, na hali madaktari zaidi ya 200 ati wamezuiwa kufanya kazi, naona sio kitendo cha kiungwana kwa wananchi, na kitendo hiki hakipo katika sehemu yoyote inayohusu maadili ya taaluma ya afya duniani. Yeyote aliyefikia uamuzi huu, hastahili kuendelea kujiita mtu anayejali maslahi na afya ya wananchi wanaotegemea huduma hii. 
Ikumbukwe, gharama za kuwasafirisha madaktari hao ni kubwa, kulipia gharama zao, zitagharimu manunuzi ya dawa za wagonjwa na hivyo kuendelea kuzorotesha huduma ya afya nchini.  
   
Mwisho, naipongeza MAT kwa kuwa mstari wa mbele kujitolea kuwahudumia watu, kwani kila kukiwa na janga lolote la kitaifa linalohusu kuokoa uhai wa binadamu, MAT kupitia njia zote za mawasiliano, imekuwa ikituma ujumbe kuwaatarifu wana taaluma kukaa tayari wakati wowote kwenda kutoa msaada pale utakapohitajika, bila malipo yoyote. Na pia naipongeza kwa kutoa tamko kali kwa wizara ya Afya kuchukua hatua za haraka kulipa posho za madaktari ili wakachape kazi kuokoa maisha ya wananchi wanaotegemea huduma zao hapahapa nchini. 
  
Kuna haja ya kusafisha watu wenye dhana ya kufukuza watu tu bila kujali tatizo lilianzia wapi, na bila kupima athari zitakazojitokeza kwa maamuzi "magumu".

Grenade Explosion Kills two in Kigali Outskirt

At least two people died and 18 were injured when a grenade exploded last tuesday evening 3rd January 2012 in Marembo Village, Nyabisindu Cell in Remera, Gasabo District.

The explosion happened at about 6:40 p.m.

The injured were immediately rushed to various hospitals in Kigali, including Kibagabaga, Kanombe Military Hospital, Kacyiru Police Hospital, and the University Teaching Hospital of Kigali (CHUK).
Police Spokesperson, Supt Theos Badege, said that more details will emerge as investigations continue.
