African Cup of Nations: Latest Results: Zambia Vs Libya

Group A games were really not friendly to the weather! After long waiting, eventually the game between Zambia and Libya started 75 minutes after the normal scheduled time to kick off.

The football pitch was pretty bad and very wet following heavy rains in the afternoon. There were some areas on the pitch which were almost no-navigatory area.

Libyans were quick to score on the 4th minutes through Ahmed Saad Osman.
24 minutes later, Zambia equalised through Emmanuel Mayuka, who was booked 2 minutes earlier on attempting to kick the ball in penalty area but it hit him near the shoulder, but he was booked for a handball!
Second half it was again time for Libya to go ahead by scoring a second goal through the first goal scorer Ahmed Saad Osman shortly after beginning of second period.

Zambia came out within seven minutes to get an equalisre through Christopher Katongo.

Afterward, the game was from flying, floating in water pools, slippery in muddy pitch and good football.

Game ende with a draw of 2 - 2

The earlier game which was supposed to be between the host Equatorial Guinea and Senegal was postponed due to bad condition on the football pitch.
