Watanzania: Ongeza ujuzi

Mdau wa blog hii Michael Mahande, kwa sasa yupo Jijini Bergen, Norway akichukua mafunzo ya shahada ya uzamili katika fani ya udaktari wa falsafa kwenye masuala ya epidemiolojia na takwimu (epidemiology and biostatistics).

Tunamuombea kila heri katika kipindi chote cha miaka 4 atakayokuwa huko Norway kimasomo.

Watu wananena... ukisoma sana ubongo unakuwa na kuzibana nywele kwa ndani, kwa hiyo nyingine zinapukutika, ila wahenga wanasema akili ni nywele, kila mtu anazo zake. Na ni kwa jinsi hiyohiyo, tafsiri za watu, ni kila mtu na yake!!!

When I was looking at this photo which I took 3 years ago while shopping in Bergen, Norway.... Something came into my mind, by recalling when my Mdau, ....from nowhere she met these friends in the shop, and within few minutes they became unseparatable friends, amazing ... even they could not understood each other language.

I remember..., the mothers .... had to play their tricks and roles as mothers to manage their separation, otherwise, time was out of our hands.

I wonder why later people become enemies, why do they fight, why do they kill each other, I have so many why, why, why , endless why.

I just wish all people in the world should have ... remained kids... :-)

Josef Stallin, aliyekuwa mzaliwa wa Georgia, ambaye alikuwa rais wa pili wa iliyokuwa Shirikisho la nchi za Kirusi, na ambaye inasemakana utawala wake ulihusishwa na mauaji ya mamilioni ya warusi wakiwemo waliokuwa wanaishi jimbo la Georgia wakati huo, ameanza kukumbukwa na baadhi ya wananchi wa Georgia na urusi kwa kile wanachosema wamechoka na utawala wa sasa ambao rais aliyepo madarakani anaendeshwa kama kikaragosi na waziri wake mkuu.

Waziri mkuu wa sasa wa Urusi, Putin, ndiye aliyemtangulia rais wa sasa bwana Medvedev, na wamekuwa wakilaumiwa kufanya vita iliyosababisha mauaji huko Georgia, na hakuna anayewachukulia hatua au kuwakemea.

Kwa mtazamo wangu:

Inapotokea wananchi wakatamani dikteta aliyekwisha kufa arudi na kuonekana ni bora kuliko wewe uliyepo madarakani, yapaswa ujiulize mara mbili mbili.

Hii ni changamoto kwa viongozi wetu hususan katika bara la Afrika.

Sailing versus Life

Laura Dekker (on photo above) from Netherlands, she want to break the world record by becoming the youngest solo sailor. Yesteday she spent the day pleading with judges and Dutch education and child protection officials to allow her to take her sailing boat, named Guppy, on the voyage, beginning on Sep 1, when she will be 14.

This journey will take her through some of the world's most dangerous waters including the most notorious piracy water near Somalia.

If she succeed, her journey around the world will take about 2 years!

Jenkins: Wanted reality TV contestant Found Dead

The 32-year-old real estate developer and investor, Ryan Alexander Jenkins was found dead at The Thunderbird Motel on an isolated road on the outskirts of Hope, B.C., at the entrance to the western province's mountainous interior.

Police in California were hunting him for first degree murder of his ex wife after the dismembered body of Jasmine Fiore was found stuffed inside a suitcase in a trash bin in Buena Park, about 20 miles southeast of Los Angeles last week. He was the last person to see her alive, which made police to make him suspect number one.

Fiore body was found with her teeth been pulled out and her fingers cut off which made identification a little bit difficult.

The manager of the Thunderbird Motel, said Jenkins arrived in a Chrysler PT Cruiser with Alberta license plates, and stayed in the car while the woman checked them in and she paid cash for three days, and when the couple didn't check out, he unlocked the room and found him dead while hanged in the bar of clothing rack.

Bolt Gagne le 200 m et bat son record du Monde!

Aérien, intouchable, irréel presque, Usain Bolt a réussi le doublé titre et record du monde sur 100 et 200 mètres aux championnats du monde d'athlétisme de Berlin.

Un doublé à Berlin était attendu, pas forcément un nouveau record du monde sur le demi-tour de piste. Mais "Lightning" Bolt, comme il s'était lui-même surnommé dans le stade du Nid d'oiseau, a couru jeudi le 200 mètres en 19"19 à Berlin après avoir signé dimanche un fulgurant 9"58 sur 100 mètres.

Mafanikio ya soko la bidhaa za Tanzania nje

Majuzi nilimsikia waziri fulani wa Tanzania akisema soko la bidhaa za Tanzania na mauzo nje ya nchi kwa bidhaa hizo yalikuwa yameongezeka kwa takribani asilimia 30.
Habari hiyo ni ya kufurahisha kwa wananchi wote wa Tanzanai

Bidhaa za Tanzania kwa hapa Rwanda zina ubora wa hali ya juu kuliko bidhaa nyingi kwenye masoko. Kwa watu wanaotaka vitu kama magodoro bora, chakula chenye ubora kiwe kile cha kiwandani au fresh, basi hukimbilia kinachtoka Tanzania.

Lakini kwa kweli bidhaa za Tz ndio ghali kushinda nyingine. Ingawa watu wanasema kitu bora ni ghali...

Kilichonisikitisha hapa, ni kukuta kuna mkaa kutoka sehemu mbalimbali, lakini unaotoka Tanzania ndio ghali kuliko mwingine, na wale wanaotumia mkaa kwa nia ya kubana kidogo hununua mkaa huo, jambo nililokuwa najiuliza, hiyo miti ambayo huko Tz inakatwa kutengeneza mkaa wa kuja kuuzwa huku ni kweli kuna mingine imepandwa??

Jumanne. is a crippled man, a day before his eye operation he was seen wheeling himself frantically down the hall in eye ward in one of tertiary hospital. The nurse Tipwa, incharge of the eye ward stopped him and this was a short conversation.

Nurse Tipwa: What is a matter with you Jumanne!!?

Jumanne: I heard the nurse saying that " It's a very simple operation, dont worry dear. I am sure it will be alright"

Nurse Tipwa: She was just trying to comfort you, and it is okay, what's so frightening about?

Jumanne: She wasn't talking to me, she was talking to a Doctor who will operate me!!

The Oldest Pupil in the World Dies

Kimani Maruge (in his classroom) who made the world record for being oldest school pupil has died at Nairobi hospital at the age of 90 years last friday. He joined Kapkenduiywo Primary School in Langas, Eldoret, about 300 km (190 miles) west of the Kenyan capital Nairobi 7 years ago.

Last year ago he was diagnosed to have colon cancer. Before diagnosis of this disease he suffered post election violence by which almost all his belongings were destroyed and more than 10 people killed near his house. He, however narrowed escaped.

The reasons made him to join school was that he wanted to read the bible himself and also he did not trust calculations made on his pension, so he wanted to study mathematics as well to challenge the pension fund.

Brazil: Homicide to Boost Television Show!

TV presenter in Brazil Wallace Souza on photo above, is being investigated for allegedly running a ruthless death squad to boost his show's ratings.
He is accused of ordering murders before alerting TV crews to get to the scene before detectives.
The ex-policeman De Souza denied any role in that killing and explained how his reporters manage to get so quickly to crime scenes, using well-placed sources and constantly monitoring scanners for police radio dispatches. However, one of ex-policeman confessed that he had been paid by Wallace sources to conduct murders.

This week his 25-year-old son Rafael was under arrest charged with homicide, drug trafficking and illegal gun possession.

Under Brazilian law Souza cannot be arrested because he is a politician, but state judicial authorities are to meet to decide whether the case goes ahead.
Souza's show, Canal Livre, has been running on a channel in Sao Paulo for 20 years now

IPP Media to Extends Wings into Rwanda

IPP Media, a broadcast media, one of East Africa’s largest Media company is due to starts its operations in Rwanda by next year.

Currently is in the process of getting a license from the Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Agency (RURA). This was said by its agency here in Kigali.

IPP Media in Tanzania owns nine newspapers, 3 television stations and 3 radio stations.
Coming to Rwanda will boost the media into active programming and broadcasting. Currently there is few local media groups and much fewer international media groups.

Prague, combinaton of narrow streets, people from alsmost all nationalities, anciety buildings and in particular the palace are unforgatable moments

Zanzibar stone town, it is among the oldest town in East Africa. Narrow streets, old houses and forts are attractive features you will see in this town

Probable among most expensive hotels in Lagos but very nice, I spent 5 days there while attending a meeting

Bongani grew up in Johannesburg SA. He went to law school in London .

After his studies he decided to go back to Johannesburg, because he could be a big and rich man in Jo’burg.There he opened his new private law office.The first day, he saw a man coming up to his office and decided to make a big impression.

As the man approaches the door, Bongani pretended to be on the phone and motioned the man to take a seat.
Bongani said into the phone: "No no no. Absolutely no. You tell those falks in New York that I am not traveling all the way that side to settle the case for less than a million bucks.…."Yes. The Court of Appeals has agreed to hear the case next week. "I'll be handling the primary argument and the other members of my team will provide support."Okay. Give the State Prosecutor my regards and ..."

The visitor sat patiently as Bongani rattled instructions. Finally, Bongani put down the telephone and said: "I'm sorry for the delay, but as you can see, I'm very busy.

What can I do for you?

The man said very gently with jittering smile: "I'm from Telkom .. I've come to connect your phone."

Jumamosi asubuhi nilikuwa nasikiliza BBC idhaa ya kiswahili, kwa wale wanaopenda kusikiliza kipindi hicho nafikiri na wao walipata mshangao kama mimi kwa taarifa ya utafiti wa Kodak.

Ati wanadai wanaume katika maisha yao hutumia takribani mwaka mmoja kwa kuwakodolea macho akina mama (wastani hutumia masaa 11 kwa mwaka), na sehemu kubwa ambayo hutumia kuwaangalia akina dada ni kwenye maduka makubwa aina ya supermarket. Tofauti na wanawake ambao hutumia takribani masaa 6 tu kwa mwaka kuwakodolea macho wanaume, na sehemu kubwa ya kukodoa macho ni kwenye mahoteli na baa!!

Hii habari ilinikumbusha habari ya utafiti uliofanyika katika nchi zinazoendelea, ambapo mambo ni tofauti,kwani wanaume hukodoa macho zaidi mitaani na hasa kwa baadhi ya maumbo ya akina mama ambayo ni tofauti na yale ya visura (mamiss). Na kulikuwa na tofauti ya ukodoaji kati ya wasomi na wale wenye kipato cha juu ukilinganisha na wale wa kipato cha wastani na chini. Sipendi kwenda kwa undani maana ninaweza kukiuka matarajio ya wasomaji......

Amazing rocks in Mwanza, Tanzania

This is a famous tiny rocky "island" few meters from Mwanza's Lake Nyanza (Victoria) shore.

It is an aatractive symbol of Mwanza, Tanzania. If you arrive in Mwanza, this is the site you should never miss. It is an attractive site indeed.

It has long history related to superstitial powers but not harmful to anybody. There are several pieces of iron bars, quite thick inserted into the rocks in a linear pattern causing no crack at all. They appear as if somebody inserted them while the rocks were in molten state and later dried up.

There is no way you can pull them out.

Historians they say that those iron bars were inserted by a witch doctor!

Local citizen usually never dare to swim near or go to those rocks

Overloading: Our Number One Enemy

Overloading of buses is the major cause of accidents and deaths. As it may cause sudden flat tyre or loss of center of gravity of a car resulting overturning.

Hill overloading is also not healthy, and actually is the major cause of health accidents and deaths.

So, watch out!!

Wiki iliyopita nilikuwa nasoma blogu ya MAISHA ambapo mwanablogu alikuwa anazungumzia kuadhibu watoto na kuwatukana kwa baadhi ya vitendo wanavyofanya ambavyo vingi huwa wanaiga kutoka kwa wazazi wao.

Mimi nakubaliana naye ya kuwa watoto wengi huiga matukio wanayoyaona kutoka kwa watu walio karibu nao, wazazi wakiwa sehemu kubwa ya msingi wa tabia za watoto.

Kama mzazi unatembea bararabarani ukiwa mchafu, au nguo dizaini, si ajabu mtoto wako akawa vivyo hivyo, ukimtukana ya kuwa yeye ni mchafu, mimi nafikiri utakuwa unajitukana mwenyewe!
