Mount Kilimanjaro is located in Northern Tanzania, it lies few degree below the equator line.
It is the highest mountain in African continent, the highest point is at Kibo peak which is 5,895 metres above sea level.
It is an amazing mountain because of its location along the tropic, and its peak is covered by snow through out the year. Everything is natural.
Apart from that, the whole of its basement is occupied by wild animals living freely without causing harm to neighbouring villages.
Visiting and climbing this mountain, you will not only reach the highest point in Africa, but also you will enjoy seing ecological diversity and fresh atmosphere which is almost the same all year round.
Few kilometres from Mount Kilimanjaro, you will be able to see the second highest mountain in Tanzania, mount Meru located in Arusha, and if you move further to north west you may get an opportunity to visit Ngorongoro crater, which is one of great wonders of the world filled again with all diversity you may think in the tropics.
