Bremen, probable among the most attractive old cities in Europe. Uniqueness of old streets and work of artisans makes your hair (if you have them) stand on end.

Prague, combinaton of narrow streets, people from alsmost all nationalities, anciety buildings and in particular the palace are unforgatable moments

Zanzibar stone town, it is among the oldest town in East Africa. Narrow streets, old houses and forts are attractive features you will see in this town

Probable among most expensive hotels in Lagos but very nice, I spent 5 days there while attending a meeting

How to Make a Day

Bongani grew up in Johannesburg SA. He went to law school in London .

After his studies he decided to go back to Johannesburg, because he could be a big and rich man in Jo’burg.There he opened his new private law office.The first day, he saw a man coming up to his office and decided to make a big impression.

As the man approaches the door, Bongani pretended to be on the phone and motioned the man to take a seat.
Bongani said into the phone: "No no no. Absolutely no. You tell those falks in New York that I am not traveling all the way that side to settle the case for less than a million bucks.…."Yes. The Court of Appeals has agreed to hear the case next week. "I'll be handling the primary argument and the other members of my team will provide support."Okay. Give the State Prosecutor my regards and ..."

The visitor sat patiently as Bongani rattled instructions. Finally, Bongani put down the telephone and said: "I'm sorry for the delay, but as you can see, I'm very busy.

What can I do for you?

The man said very gently with jittering smile: "I'm from Telkom .. I've come to connect your phone."

Kukodoa Macho

Jumamosi asubuhi nilikuwa nasikiliza BBC idhaa ya kiswahili, kwa wale wanaopenda kusikiliza kipindi hicho nafikiri na wao walipata mshangao kama mimi kwa taarifa ya utafiti wa Kodak.

Ati wanadai wanaume katika maisha yao hutumia takribani mwaka mmoja kwa kuwakodolea macho akina mama (wastani hutumia masaa 11 kwa mwaka), na sehemu kubwa ambayo hutumia kuwaangalia akina dada ni kwenye maduka makubwa aina ya supermarket. Tofauti na wanawake ambao hutumia takribani masaa 6 tu kwa mwaka kuwakodolea macho wanaume, na sehemu kubwa ya kukodoa macho ni kwenye mahoteli na baa!!

Hii habari ilinikumbusha habari ya utafiti uliofanyika katika nchi zinazoendelea, ambapo mambo ni tofauti,kwani wanaume hukodoa macho zaidi mitaani na hasa kwa baadhi ya maumbo ya akina mama ambayo ni tofauti na yale ya visura (mamiss). Na kulikuwa na tofauti ya ukodoaji kati ya wasomi na wale wenye kipato cha juu ukilinganisha na wale wa kipato cha wastani na chini. Sipendi kwenda kwa undani maana ninaweza kukiuka matarajio ya wasomaji......

Amazing rocks in Mwanza, Tanzania

This is a famous tiny rocky "island" few meters from Mwanza's Lake Nyanza (Victoria) shore.

It is an aatractive symbol of Mwanza, Tanzania. If you arrive in Mwanza, this is the site you should never miss. It is an attractive site indeed.

It has long history related to superstitial powers but not harmful to anybody. There are several pieces of iron bars, quite thick inserted into the rocks in a linear pattern causing no crack at all. They appear as if somebody inserted them while the rocks were in molten state and later dried up.

There is no way you can pull them out.

Historians they say that those iron bars were inserted by a witch doctor!

Local citizen usually never dare to swim near or go to those rocks

Nafikiri viongozi wengi wa Afrika na kwingineko hawawezi kudiriki kufanya hivyo.

Kwa mtazamo wangu nafikiri Obama alikuwa ana hamu ya kula nyama choma, ambapo wakenya ni maarufu sana duniani kwa nyama choma, na sharti la kula nyama choma ni lazima muwe wengi, hivyo Obama alitaka kukumbukia nyumbani Kenya.

Overloading: Our Number One Enemy

Overloading of buses is the major cause of accidents and deaths. As it may cause sudden flat tyre or loss of center of gravity of a car resulting overturning.

Hill overloading is also not healthy, and actually is the major cause of health accidents and deaths.

So, watch out!!

Tabia ya Mtu Hufunzwa Toka Utotoni

Wiki iliyopita nilikuwa nasoma blogu ya MAISHA ambapo mwanablogu alikuwa anazungumzia kuadhibu watoto na kuwatukana kwa baadhi ya vitendo wanavyofanya ambavyo vingi huwa wanaiga kutoka kwa wazazi wao.

Mimi nakubaliana naye ya kuwa watoto wengi huiga matukio wanayoyaona kutoka kwa watu walio karibu nao, wazazi wakiwa sehemu kubwa ya msingi wa tabia za watoto.

Kama mzazi unatembea bararabarani ukiwa mchafu, au nguo dizaini, si ajabu mtoto wako akawa vivyo hivyo, ukimtukana ya kuwa yeye ni mchafu, mimi nafikiri utakuwa unajitukana mwenyewe!
