Talk of the Day as Manchester Clubs crash-out of Champions' League

In England, it is the time for Londoners and not Manchesters

CNN quotes : Manchester United and their city rivals Manchester City both made embarrassing exits from the Champions League on Wednesday.

Roy Keane on BBC : Man U ...."I think their best player tonight was Ryan Giggs. That sums it up - he's 37 or 38, you can't be depending on him. United got what they deserved tonight.

Fergie on Al-Jazeera "We're disappointed, there's no other way you can feel,'' .....
"It's a loss because it's the best tournament in the world."

Supersport says....Manchester United and Manchester City will begin 2012 scrapping with the also-rans of European football after ignominious Champions League exits .......... So used to dining with the continents's aristocrats in the second half of the season, the English champions now face the prospect of the less salubrious and much maligned Europa League.

Skysport narrates ...Manchester's nightmare scenario became a grim reality as both United and City were sent crashing out of the UEFA Champions League before the knockout stage.
Failing to progress from a group containing Otelul Galati, Benfica and Basel must surely rank as one of the lowest points in the managerial career of Sir Alex Ferguson, who could only look on stony-faced as his side were beaten 2-1 away by the Swiss side to slip below their opponents and into the Europa League.

Anyway.....I was looking for positive comments about Manchester Clubs, but I just end up into those.... eventually I abandon  further searching!!
