Eritrea Women Football Team: German trip Was Helpful!!!

National football team for Eritrea (Women) had a shocking 8 – 1 defeat from their Tanzanians opponents.

This game was played in Dar es Salaam today.
The game was almost one sided, but at least Eritrea manage to get their lone goal during the injury time of the second half.

It should be remembered that Eritrean team was in Germany for about a month where they went there for training as preparations for this game. Probably this training had helped them at least to reduce the number of goals, otherwise they could have been beaten heavily.

The return leg will be held in Asmara two weeks from now by which Eritrea will have to score 7 – 0 if they want to qualify for the finals of African Women Football Championship in South Africa shortly after the world cup this year.

My advice to Eritrea, probably they should go to Italy now to learn how to defend their goal! :-(
